The Winter Rose

smokingbootA rose is blooming in our garden, clearly it fears no season. It's of a luscious white- pink-red streaked variety, 'Handel,' I think is the type, and the smell of the bloom is absolutely heart lifting.
Just as well. My work is driving me nuts.
