So. The two closest memes to me are the book meme, which in itself has turned into a work of fiction too mighty for me to peruse to the end...and the f*ckathon meme.

Apparently, if one would enjoy a f*ckathon with someone on one's friends list, one posts a sentence on one's LJ to that effect.

My mind is reeling with horror. I feel as though I am going mad. A f*ckathon? With one person on a friends list? What the hell is going on? What happened to standards?

Surely to f*ckathon properly, one would invite *Ebenezer and Charles for their devoted fans, fill the jacuzzi with champange, invite one's entire friends list and other rampantly beautiful chums and drench the world in rock and roll and musk and midnight for four days. Have the lessons of the sixties been entirely wasted?
