It's been years since I attended a night of Cirque Du Soleil. Last time was in a big top, me huddled under a coat drinking champagne. Last night was at the Royal Albert Hall with some VIP hospitality thrown in, all very pleasant, though the trip into town was bitter cold. The current show is called Amaluna, a kind of Tempest-alike, with Prospera, Miranda, a storm goddess, a moon goddess, a peacock goddess, amazons and castaways and lizard men and clowns. I loved it all but the best bit was seeing the Man relax, delighted with all the grace and fantasy around us.
Other good stuff included the news that my Mum is safe and sound at her home. My neighbour was mistaken!
And now, time to prepare for Oz, sunshine and warmth.
