But how real is Trump as a contender and possible headache for the world? I don't know enough about US politics to be sure. He's considered a buffoon here, https://www.facebook.com/HuffPostPolitics/videos/10153680776932911/?theater and while I don't agree with the petition to ban him, I do think his aims and methods should not be ignored just because he's ridiculous.

In very unimportant news, I now have holiday hair and it is much nicer than Trump's, though there is less of it, nor does it crouch on my head in synthetic warning.

Trump is a serious contender and would pull in a lot of votes from Democrats if he were the Republican nominee. Hard to say how much of a headache he'd be but then if one's comparing him with Obama and Hillary Clinton - could he be worse?

I don't know a huge amount about HClinton and Obama really, except that the latter seems to have done some good with his medicare reforms, and some bad with his acceptance of drilling in Alaska. Clinton at least seems to be taking conservation seriously. I am happy to learn more...

Trump seems to be an active lunatic. What could induce people to vote for him?
