The bug hasn't gone away. One large meal and I was back in the loo, three very painful times in an hour. Back to this blasted fast...but if this thing hasn't gone by Monday, I probably need the doctor.

To add to the misery, I now have a streaming cold. My body and my mind are very awake,they're just muffled in goo.

If you're losing fluids you need electrolyte replacement. It helps with recovery. You can make it yourself (lots of recipes online - basically orange juice, lemon juice, water, and salt in the right proportions) but the sachets of powder are good to have in the house. You can get them at Boots.

That's enough advice for one day. :D
