So that's one pink bedroom. And it's fresh and bright and lovely but brings home to me once again that I don't do subtle. Maybe my views on interior decoration have been permanently shaped by 90s rave culture. There is absolutely nothing neutral about this house.
When people talk about 'grown up' pink, they mean pink with a touch of grey. When they talk about 'blush' pink they often mean the colour of nude lipstick or tan tights. Those aren't really me. Pink is one of the most beautiful colours, even when it's almost white, as long as the pink isn't afraid of itself. Pale pink is exquisite. I thought this was a pale pink.
Well, pale it ain't. It's not bubblegum but it's certainly princessy. On no account must I put a unicorn in this room.
