Sep. 28th, 2004 09:37 amOoooh...temperature and shivers and rash and period and everything...niiiiiice. Really looking to the flight out on Saturday morning at this rate. Don't get me wrong, it's interesting and trippy; I don't actually mind being ill unless I have to get stuff done, but I really do have to get stuff done before Venice.
I quite like this. When I look at the screen it spins. I think I should go back to bed. No, it's stopped now. OK.
Last night was cool, despite me being as useful as a toastrack on Mars. We played Stabface,or rather a small spin-off of the main campaign, though as it transpires the events unfolding in the adventurette hugely affect the big picture.
Cyanidemigraine was clearly jubilant playing his Fox priest/rogue (I suspect the fox is as much his totem as his character's) Evilwillow played a bemused mage of the same clan, whose knowledge of politics and the elven court was all that stood between us and disaster. I played Ichtoo, a druid of the Bat Clan, and I really enjoyed it. I hope I get to play her again, though it seems unlikely. Larians, who is running the game, wanted to end the session early so he could get a good night's sleep, having to get up at 4 this morning...so giving us a long and fascinating prophecy to play with at the end of the game was possibly not the wisest thing he could have done. All we could do was chew over the prophecy, creating endless connotations and possibilities. We could have gone on forever and almost did.
The moon was beautiful, not that I felt any heightened sense of its presence. I crashed into bed, and slept the sleep of the sweaty, and I think I am about to go repeat the experience. Oooh, see the world spin, spin, spin world...good night LJ.
