Bad dreams

smokingbootThe worst kind, the ones that happen split seconds before I actually fall asleep. Hearing someone call my name, wondering if the voice was Aunty or Mum. Whoever it was, the voice was imperative but not panic-stricken. It was making me pay attention... and then a feeling of slowly turning upside down, like being in some kind of rollover accident. A slight feeling of nausea then drifting off into sleep, only to have dreams I can't remember, my voice calling out for help. R woke me. He said I wasn't saying anything, just making nightmare sounds.
Ugh.
