Done. Ugh.
Aching arm, aching head, aching side of body, sniffles, nausea, but OK. Not getting much done today...
Very tired.
Meanwhile, Andrew is up, my cousin is cheery, my mother knows nothing and all is as well as can be expected.
I say she knows nothing; she has been sending me panic-stricken texts about the evils of vaccinations. On some level she knows, and is trying to terrify me away from the shot. She's always been a big fan of fear as educational measure.
But vaccination saved her life when she was a child with Diptheria. Horse serum did the trick.
Meanwhile, paying attention to Biden's words about democracy being under threat all over the world. It certainly is here in Blighty, where Johnson and his hideous crew make up more and more autocratic laws... But Scotland's not immune on its own account. The recent Hate Speech legislation that has been passed is a dictator's heartbeat. I don't get how little people really care about freedom; so very ready to legislate against words they don't like, never suspecting that someone somewhere could feel the same about their own words. It's that curved line where Left meets Right in a perfect circle of authoritarianism, one tells people what to do, the other tells people how to be. Both creepy AF.
I don't know how I can vote for the SNP now. Back to the Greens I think, and with so much potential for green energy in Scotland, it's no bad idea.
Ugh, no good. Swimmy head, time to stop. My mother will have been trying to contact me, I have to brace myself for some comprehensive smiley-say-nothing exchange.
