smokingbootWinter, you pretty bastard, I know you're out there. Yesterday brought hoarfrost and last night the hot water bottles were calling. This morning,I found all my plants huddled together in vegetable panic. They feel you, even in a heated conservatory, they know you're stalking them.
Consider this a declaration of thwartment; I'm moving all those poor rooted shmoes into my kitchen, so your murderous instincts are wasted around here.
I suppose I shouldn't be goading you when I'm about to enter your territory, but I am fearless in my thermals. I have enough of a brief to be going on with, the event looks great, and we have bunks, do you hear me, bunks!
You could make this weekend thoroughly evil of course. Or you could save the horror for later, and make the trees and sky as gorgeous as you did last night. Go on, Winter, let us off this once. Make nice, act pretty, and I might even end up with a bit of a crush. What do you say?
