The Green Man

smokingbootNot last night's dream but that of the night before;
It was a waking hallucination, the sort I get moments before sleeping. But it was very clear.
Up near the light I saw a vision of a crudely wrought but still Egyptian looking sarcophagus, complete with a rendition of the deceased face at the top, like that of a pharoah. Face, sarcophagus and all were made of some kind of green stone.
Is it Osiris? I wondered, seeing as he's often depicted this way. Very positive and all that, regeneration, vegetation, the otherworld of Egypt. This analysis was of course, some time after the bejasus had been scared right out of me. Those first few seconds were dedicated to gibbering WTFIT?
