This stupid tendinitis really hurts all the way up the leg. The anti-inflammatories work until I actually do anything, and even then the pain doesn't happen. It's afterwards that's awful. R is unwell with what I am almost convinced is Covid, though the LF test was negative. But it's come on fast and dramatic, and has every symptom so I'm going to ask him to take more tests. He was so ill he had to stop work yesterday. I went to the shops yesterday to get food, came home, all well, now in pain. Yeesh.

Baths actually make it worse for some reason.

This and Mum's episode have left me out of sorts, but some excellent things have happened too; old friends up for a long weekend, loads of fun plus experimenting with a nigh-on entirely vegan diet for three days.

3 bean chilli with coconut fake yoghurt works.
Beetroot and chickpea curry is eventful.
Fake bacon's OK-ish, likewise fake cheese. Plant based butter substitutes are OK too, but I find it hard to get excited about these; aren't all margarines plant-based?
