Going through my DW reading page, suddenly had one of those attacks again, haven't had these in ages. Started in the left breast, spread out and down into the gut and both sides. Twenty minutes. Excruciating. Now the pain has gone but I am dizzy and worn out.

Weird though, no bread no coffee is my regimen to try to head this stuff off. I had taken one sip of tea, maybe the water was too hot? Didn't feel that way.

When I close my eyes the room spins. Good grief. Reason I didn't call 999? By the time they get here the pain is always gone, they stick those little ECG tabs all over me and everything seems fine, then they whisk me off in an ambulance (and in this state I am still in my dressing gown) then there's a waiting period of around 4 hours (something about stuff showing up in the blood stream) then its ECG tabs again, probably a blood test, nothing shows up. And that's the day gone, with me in my dressing gown in Livingston Hospital and no results showing anything beyond perfect normality. How can I be so sure? Because they never do. They've done comprehensive tests, it's not my heart, not my lungs,not my gall bladder. I think it's the muscle wall. Bloody painful is what it is.

Ooh, this is very strange. I could go and lie down - in fact I did - but it doesn't change anything. The room is steady when I keep my eyes open, not so much when I close them. I may need to go back to sleep, but I have stuff to do today.
