The sky's pink is deepening northwards while the moon sets behind the house. There's heavy frost everywhere.

Going into Edinburgh to meet a friend, and I know I shouldn't, but I have put this off/changed it so often, she's going to start thinking there's something wrong soon. I make and remake these arrangments completely convinced that the issue will be solved by whenever things are meant to be happening, only to find that reality won't do as I tell it. Most annoying.

I have to use taxis today.

There now, the pink is fading into proper blue. This is my second cup of tea, I need to be an adult and get ready.
