Well B*ggar
Jan. 31st, 2023 08:41 amCovid!
Poor R's got it.
The test shows a very faint line, so faint that I am hoping he is at the end of the infection rather than the beginning. We'll test day by day until it's gone. This is an awful week for an infection to appear; Florence and the Machine in Glasgow tomorrow night, public consultation on new housing development(!) Thursday night, gin tasting on a fundraiser with mates Friday night. I am settling myself to accept that none of these may happen. Sometimes life's a bit of a sod, but we will find ways to make up for it.
The symptoms are basically a lousy cold with added cough. I have had a couple of weird symptoms, notably an afternoon's nausea yesterday. Tbh, I did have a moment's suspicion simply because this thing appeared so fast after his return from Bristol. It didn't develop much, it was suddenly there. I generally feel fine.
