Well yes. Admittedly, I am philosophical about it because I am used to being a very indifferent cook, but this was particularly mediocre.

Risotto is tricky. And you can only use Arborio rice.

It was vaguely edible if one just ignored what it looked like and what it tasted like!

Next time I will remember re the Arborio rice.

Sorry for your disappointment but rice is rice where I come from, no matter its state, and to be scarfled instanter.

Oh, scarfling definitely happened! It was bad, but not bad enough to justify throwing it away!
