A much better day, care of the excellent chumship of scary_lady and ellistar.

And an old mystery solved. Sometimes situations can be spiked just like cheap cocktails. Perp revealed, method and modus operandi remarkably familiar - only unsuccessful this time - and a knot in my head untied.

No-one's going to understand or care about this except me, but somehow it's a relief to know and feel the positive presence of come-uppance. I write this now, and add it to the box of things to be put away for ever.

Yes, today is a good day.

We'll have so much on this saturday I doubt we'll have time! There are different knots in the boot-brain and this is just the start of my de-tanglement (thanks both of you:-))

In terms of facts re a very painful episode I now know what actually happened, and that's something I have needed for peace of mind. But explaining it would take ages, and it's probably wiser to let it blow away. I'll return my attention to it if it ever jumps up and bites me. But I don't think it will.
