Sometimes I revile politicians for not doing that, all the time forgetting it myself; and sometimes I give peace a chance and it fails. I should keep trying, but right now I'm weary, so bear with me. I'm no saint either.

Didn't realise how much the ideals you sang about influenced me - even if George was my favourite;-)

But what then of those who live and die unknown and unloved? The Eleanor Rigbys and Father Mackenzies?

I will say that no-one truly dies who lives on in the heart of the eternal.
Just like the doctor, I can grin after all the battles and say 'Everybody lives!' Humour your poor mad friend. You know it is just my way.
