The Boris situation has been reported to the RSPCA and they're sending an inspector to check him out, but I feel embarrassed, like I'm a snitch. Still, sooner that than a sad Boris.
Maelstrom: great and glorious was the re-enactment fair, and full of beautiful things I wanted to buy for the house, never mind kit. Larians looks rather scrum in his new gear, and as for my character, well, I think she's beginning to come together. A few details need fixing, but it could be worse. This may be code for 'I like this look so much my character will probably die within an hour of wearing it.'
Last night, we went to the Grand in Leeds to see the Reduced Shakespeare Company's latest production, 'All the Great Books,' with Sensible But Spiritual and Laughs Like Gravel. The last time I saw the R(d)SC was in the early 90's when they were trotting out the Complete Works of Shakespeare for the first time. We laughed like drains then, and we laughed like drains last night. Marvellous.
And so the week begins, and I suddenly find myself feeling rejuvenated, ready to rock and write. Onwards and upwards!
