The week has been rescued by funky friends, lobster salads and midsummer bee encounters. Apart from that, it's been a bit of a pig. PC's not well, phone's not working properly, a much needed cheque has just upped and disappeared, nightmares and knit muscles, too much work and too little time and too many wild weird irritations ...the past four days have been a series of glitches, mostly to do with communication and memory. Maybe I've offended Mercury.
So I went out into the downpour today, and picked some of the herbs I planted (too close together of course; but how was I to know everything would grow so fast?)Black Mint, so delicate and fresh, and Rosmarinus, Rosemary for remembrance, though it's other name, sea-dew, suits the day better. I pressed the wet leaves against my face and let the rain into my head. And I woke up. Just like that.
My jeans are encrusted in mud up to the thighs.
