Disappointment

It's my mum's birthday today. We were meant to Skype this morning but she didn't turn up.

She saw Skype for the first time when I was there this October, and she was so keen I thought we might be able to arrange to do it once a week; that way I would always be sure she was OK, and she would have some human interaction, get her out of her flat and off to Aunty's for a chat, not just with me but with the family who are always around.

I put makeup on this morning, so as to look good for her. She likes that. But anyway. Happy Birthday Mum, wherever you are.
