Birthday

Today is my Aunt Senty's birthday.

I woke this morning so sad I started crying. It's silly really, Aunty had a great life. She'd want me to stop being such an idiot.

I won't mention Aunty's birthday to Mum, in case it distresses her more. She appears to have combusted, sending me frantic texts about not getting vaccinated against Covid on any account, something about a group of doctors writing to parliament warning about very serious effects of the vaccine. She reminds me that wherever she is there is a home for us, which is lovely but also a clear indication that she is terrified. because whenever she gets scared she reminds us that we have a home with her. It is as though she's expecting something truly terrible to happen, like civil war starting and our having to depart these shores in a hurry.

I hate misinformation. Not enough to destroy people's liberty to end it, but sometimes...

Sometimes I wish my mother didn't believe every fool thing she sees on social media.

Anyhoo.
