Yes, I want a week of cracked rock and blistering sun and flamedancing and naked/stoned/out of it people riding bicycles, creating dreams, 'radically expressing themselves' through art and sex and drugs and firelight and desert night. I kept putting it off. And now I've missed the motorised cupcakes.

Although the thought of taking an Edwardian-themed expeditionary tour there was initially quite tempting, reading through the FAQ and Survival Guide served to put me off the idea. Perhaps if money were no object (I mean really no object) then it might be feasible ... I guess I like my creature comforts too much.

An Edwardian expedition would be super - I can see them now, riding around the playa on penny farthings:-) synchronise them, add music,and we have performance art!

I was pretty daunted by the survival guide, cos though I don't need creature comforts too much, I am lazy. Then I recalled that you can just drive away if it gets too much, though that would be a shame; what the expedition would need is an uber organiser to ensure tentage, water, waste disposal, mosquito nets, moustache wax etc. We need butlers!
