I think if you are going to have victorian style impresarios it's important that they get assailed by squid headed elder gods who coax them into soul stealing contracts and then insist on crooning at the audience, 'One thing I know is true, I want to do bad things to you.' Cue The Baron who hangs weights from his nipples after Margaret Thatcher gets her gloves on and sorts Labour out.
