Frustration

smokingbootTwo things turned down, one thing I wanted I didn't get, still waiting on one, which I don't really care about.
I have been warned that I am not really well enough to do this, but I have such a sense of flatness in my writing; only my poetry works in the way I like. How can I just sit and get better? It's no good for my creativity. I want to go out and explore.
