Cracked it
Oct. 11th, 2003 05:08 amOK, after two coffees and some hard thinking, I have it sussed.
I'll put the concept together, enforce enough discipline on myself to create the standard synopsis and three chapters to see if I can make it work. If so I contact the usual suspects to see if editors/agents can use it.
Then, as a prize for being a good girl, while it's doing the rounds, I start work on it as an event concept.
Pros:
I stop feeling guilty about putting too much creativity into roleplay when I should be using it professionally.
Cons:
Letting down Sensible But Spiritual, who is already set to work hard and make this succeed as an event. I will speak to SBS tomorrow and see if she's cool with it. If she isn't, well, back to square one. But I think she'll be OK. It has barely started, after all.
And with that, Saturday morning thinking is over. I intend to stay in my dressing gown until the advent of Likes To Help, who is coming round to chill out tonight.
Just read my last entry. 5 out of 10? *LOL*
