Weekend to remember

Freakella's latest adventure is a sweet/alarming footnote to a truly wonderful weekend. Larians and I went to visit two chums who live on a houseboat. We were spoilt to death, great hospitality, great conversation, great food, and we came away from our excursion refreshed and very happy. It's good to find people with whom you have so much in common!

It was my first experience of houseboats and I really liked it. Our hosts had moored the boat next to a bank of hawthorn trees. Sitting on the roof of the boat with the circle of the sun overhead and that scent all around us, I felt so peaceful and so happy. We stayed there that night, and I fell asleep in a blissed out state, only to dream of being passionately and insistently kissed over and over again. An intense dream to have in such a gentle place, and rather convincing. I liked it, but then I liked everything about this weekend. Relaxation and quality of life. Our chums are on to something!

You are always welcome. Despite living in such blissful surroundings, nothing can beat the joy of sharing it :) We also came away from the weekend feeling very content.
