A meeting on the stair

smokingbootA lot has happened this weekend, but it will have to wait.
Right now I'm just going to recount Friday's strange event.
Because we were travelling the next day, we decided to get a take-out. 30 minutes after booking it we got a phone call; our delivery guy was sitting in his van opposite our house, terrified to come up the steps because three black cats were sitting there looking at him in a funny way.
They're ours natch, though one is black and white, but those pale patches don't disqualify her from adding to the ominous atmosphere that thoroughly and convincingly freaked him out. Had I been more on the ball, I'd have got Alexa to start playing Tubular Bells. Seems like he's not coming back anyway...
