Terrible Faces

I had loads of fun with that new app. The most excruciating one was my version of the demented romance-writer.



I also tried with a photo I took of myself years ago, 'manning up' with the aid of dragging an eyeliner backwards through my brows, then ruining it on my upper lip. The result, when cartoonified, was this.



I looked at it trying to work out who it reminded me off, and the answer came like a shock. This was the embodiment of Nuclear Man, a sorta-ex whose answer to one argument was to drive around my abode working out which window would best suit a molotov cocktail. See, I have been a romantic heroine in my time! My secret? Unhinge 'em. Works for decades. Had I understood my power I'd have gone into politics.

I showed it to my brother who scoffed at the evident wrongness of the hair, and showed me how it should be done. Didn't even need a filter.



I salute a master but am quietly gutted. How can he look like this and not have invented time travel?

It is Bro, but in his defence, this is deliberate, showing me who's boss re claims of ludicrous hair. He would never go to see Mum looking like this.

As to Mr Boot, thank you! But the cartoon was far kinder than the photo 😀
