Knock knock

Haven't had one of these for ages. But that was very clear and scared the crap out of me.

Maybe it was nothing but I wish I wasn't by myself this evening.

Tried to cheer myself up by creating a kind of cheesy pic of some banshee knocking at my door. Just managed to scare myself even more. Oh well.

Gone now.

I had an Anglo-Irish legend 'passed on to me' about what it means when one hears a knock on the door and there's no-one there. Given my house is full of creaks and sounds, I can mostly dismiss it, and laugh at myself. But last night it seemed very clear, and I scared myself so much I couldn't sleep until my husband returned! Ridiculous!

Ooooh, I would love to hear that one! Although, I'm alone way up here deep in the woods several nights a week....so maybe not!

It is basically an interation of Bean-Sidhe/Washer by the Ford stories, but it brings no harm, AFAIK, to the one who hears. When the time feels right, tell me and I will share it with you X
