But hey, you shut those up with a couple of well chosen warnings that protests would mean the end of French aid; so everybody clammed up (geddit?) and who cares now if the local food chain's irradiated?

Makes me wonder what poor old Finland did to be singled out though. I expect such abuse against Britain, but what did Finland ever do to him?

From what Larians told me, his experience of Finnish cuisine was quite positive. Admittedly, he didn't try the house speciality; bear's paws...

Well, my stepmother is currently in England, so technically speaking Chirac's right - we do have the worst food here, but that doesn't mean all our food is bad.

Her ingredients are definitely...erm...strong. It's the duck embryos that really got me, although the fish heads aren't much better.

I don't know enough about the CAP to comment with any real understanding. What does it bring us (or indeed anyone except France?)

I'm not a francophobe, it's not meant to sound unkind, I genuinely don't know!
